Privacy Policy
How ConnectifyAI collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and editor. Effective date: May 29, 2026.
Demo product notice
ConnectifyAI is under active development. Much of the product today runs in your browser with local storage. When you sign in, account data is stored locally for demonstration purposes until cloud services are fully connected. This policy describes our practices now and as the product matures.
Who we are
ConnectifyAI (“Connectify,” “we,” “us”) provides a visual graph editor for AI and ML workflows. This policy applies to connectifyai.com and related web applications, documentation, and services we operate.
Questions about privacy: privacy@connectifyai.com.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — email address, username, display name, and password (stored in hashed form when you create an account).
- Profile and workspace content — graph projects, node configurations, comments, and metadata you choose to save or publish.
- Support and feedback — messages you send to us, including bug reports and feature requests.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics — pages visited, features used, performance errors, and coarse device/browser information to improve reliability.
- Local storage — preferences (theme, layout), project data, and session state stored in your browser when you use the app without signing in or before sync is enabled.
- Cookies and similar technologies — essential cookies for authentication and security; optional analytics cookies where permitted by law and your settings.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Connectify editor, hub, and community features;
- Authenticate you and secure your account;
- Sync projects across devices when cloud features are enabled;
- Respond to support requests and communicate product updates;
- Detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use project graph content to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in.
Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you requested); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, and fraud prevention); consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies where required); and legal obligation where applicable.
Sharing and disclosure
We may share information with:
- Service providers — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support vendors bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms;
- Collaborators you invite — according to permissions you set on shared graphs;
- Community viewers — when you publish a graph as public or open-contribution;
- Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect users and the service.
Published community graphs may be visible to anyone without an account. Do not include secrets, personal data about others, or regulated health/financial information in public graphs unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
Retention
We retain account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so you can recover work or resolve disputes. Local-only data remains on your device until you clear browser storage or uninstall. Backups and logs may be retained for a limited period for security and operations.
You may delete projects from the hub or delete your account from Settings. Deletion propagates to connected copies according to our backup schedule; residual copies in forks created by other users may persist as independent projects.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and hashed credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; report concerns to security@connectifyai.com.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact privacy@connectifyai.com. We will verify your request and respond within applicable timelines.
You can control optional cookies through your browser and, where offered, in-product privacy settings. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
Children
Connectify is not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.
International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
